Hugo – Pet Distance Healing

As I sit quietly after my morning meditation, I take a moment to be thankful and during this moment I reflect on the distance healing I did with Hugo.

Earlier this week a friend reached out and asked if I did healings on pets. When I replied yes, it can either be hands on or distance, they asked if I could do the distance healing. I received a photo of their pet along with his name – Hugo, and what a sweetheart he is. I had no other information, so using Hugo’s photo I gently tuned into his energy and introduced myself and asked if he would like some healing. I got a yes straight up. His energy felt tired and as I brought through the reiki frequency of healing, Hugo directed me as to where he would like the healing energy, so I followed his lead by starting at his shoulders, then hips, then just like I was patting his back I stroked the energy from his head down to his tail, then finished with his chest/heart. I could feel his tongue licking the back of my hand and his gentle thank you.

I sent a message to my friend to let them know I was finished the treatment and the next day they shared more of Hugo’s story: -

              “Meg, I have to share that Hugo has not been able to walk since Sunday. My husband had to make a trolley for him so that he could get himself outside to go to the toilet. A friend of mine told me Spirit referenced the Earth Healer, and I immediately thought of you, and that healing you did on him last night (Monday) has been miraculous today! He is up on his own!! And he seems so much better!”

I cried when I received that message and thanked them for sharing it with me. As I was replying I was guided to offer 2 more mini healings to Hugo, which I did and felt his energy was happier. He directed me once again and we worked from his head down the spine, then worked on his ears and I found out later that he loves having his ears rubbed. Near the end of the 2nd healing I felt Hugo place his paw on my heart as an exchange of loving energy.

On the 3rd day I was told this would be the last healing unless Hugo needed more and it was a beautiful healing as I could feel Hugo’s kisses on my cheek as I finished.

I am happy to report that Hugo is feeling much happier in himself, and it was my pleasure to be able to support him.

Life can be full of ups and downs and that even extends to our pets as they pick up on our emotions, just as we pick up on theirs. Reiki Healing is such a gentle way to offer support to our pets so that they may heal just as we would in a healing session.

I have often had homeowners say to me how their cat or dog knows when I’m coming and wait by the door for my pats, one homeowner at the time had a bullmastiff named Bella, who liked me as soon as I said hello, her butt wagging so her mum knew I was okay to let inside. Bella would always meet me at the door and lean her body into my legs for a long pat; she could feel the reiki energy flowing from my hands. And then there’s Gutherie the cat who just loves his pats as we chat together and how can I forget Nero; he is so polite and awaits his energy pat with a smile and wag of tail.

I have met many pets over the years, and they all know when I’m there and if they need a little healing they just come and lean into my legs and I just lay my hands on their bodies and when there’ve had enough, they walk off or go to sleep. I just love their beautiful energy, and it makes my heart sing to know they trust me.
