Spring has Sprung!!
Hello Spring! Let's get down to business.
Yes people, it's time to embrace the new season and Spring Clean!
Oh no, I hear you say!
Oh yes, I say right back to you.
You've done or at least started the hard work through winter of healing and nurturing. You've quietly made plans for the coming seasons of warmer weather and you've probably planted new seeds, metaphorically or even physically into your garden.
It's now the time to take action.
It's time to truly embrace your dreams or goals.
Now is the time to wake up from winters slumber and take positive action!
Can you hear me roar? Action makes movement both energetically and physically. When we get proactive, we are letting the 'Powers that Be' (Universe/SoulEnergy) know that we are serious.
Remember 'Like attracts Like'. When we stand in our true vibration or Soul Energy we are creative, we are energetically at one with the energy around us and our thoughts manifest, come to fruition.
So, let's start Spring and September with a deep clean of our space. Here's some tips. Remember, I'm here for you if you need me to come help and support you during the process of space clearing and reorganising/decluttering your items. Sometimes we just need to push through the procrastination as it needs to end someday...so why not now.
Tips
First, set up a clear intention of what you want to achieve such as: I open my home up to the gentle breeze and sunshine to cleanse and clear out any and all stagnant energy from my home and in turn welcome in the fresh and uplifting energy of the sunshine so that my home feels balanced and warm.
On a fine day, open doors and windows, if you can safely do so, and leave open for an hour or as long as feels right for you to let the fresh air flow through the space. When you close the windows and doors say a gentle thank you.
Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop. Yep, that's right. These to-do's also help shift stagnant energy from the home and it also freshens the space. Try putting some essential oil into the mop bucket as you wash the floor, not only does it smell good it helps cleanse the energy around you. I like eucalyptus or a calming blend.
Clean the windows! Oh my, how dirty do they get. You're clearing away the grime of the winter season along with the dust to bring in the clear view/clarity of spring energy. And as I write this, I'm watching the mist roll in. When I opened the blinds I could see the Dandenong Ranges and now it's all foggy. Don't you love Mother Nature.
Give your kitchen, bathroom, toilet and laundry a good clean. Yep, freshen them up. Even light a candle and place it in one of the spaces or all of them if you are called to do so the candlelight softens the energy. Remember you're taking ownership of your space. You are making it beautiful and balancing the space's energy as you clean, cleanse and reorganise.
Decluttering. Yes, the dreaded decluttering.
You know, those piles of things that you'll get to one day. The wardrobe that is overflowing along with the chest of drawers or even the favourite floor-robe. Why not add in the mending and ironing pile, which I'm happy to say I have neither of. All those items that are gathering on the floor, tables, in overflowing drawers and shelving. The items that are gathering are the places to start. And wow, if you're energetic and brave enough, what does the carport/garage/shed look like?
And again, here I offer my service and support to come help you, because YES it can be overwhelming.
Start small, you know, empty out the little rubbish bins, then grab a garbage bag and walk through each room picking up empty packets, used tissues, clothes tags, old worn out shoes, broken items, used ears buds, scrunched up paper, holey socks & undies. You get the picture. Honestly, just doing this makes a big difference because it transforms a space instantly. Then do not leave the garbage bag inside put it straight outside in the big bin that goes out to the curb. You'll feel great by doing this, trust me, I know.
When working with the energy of your home go gently and trust your intuition as it's your best guide. Use your senses to view and feel the space as you work on an energetic level. I like to invite the Violet Light/Flame into the space to transmute heavy energy. I see this as a laser running across the ceiling flowing back and forth bringing down a laser of Violet Light that fills every part of my home. Also a flash of White Light works a treat and calms the energy.
These are just some quick go tos to get you in the mood for Spring Cleaning your home or workplace. It's all about getting grounded, centred, and aligned to make room for creation and vibrant energy to support you.
With Love, Meg

Ostara
written by Shelley
Ostara marks the midpoint between the winter and summer solstices. It is the celebration of spring equinox as the sun crosses the celestial equator, and a day of balance between light and dark. The traditional southern hemisphere date is September 21st. This year, the actual equinox occurs on 23rd of September. Spring is just beginning here in Australia, as we gently move from the introspection of winter to the season of new growth.
There is balance to be sought and seen and cherished. Feel your feminine side on those old-fashioned scales and imagine the masculine of equal measure. The inner work of the darkness over winter can now be balanced with light. Warmer days will encourage us all to spend as much time outside as in. The renewal of the season can reach poise with cleansing; growth metered with stillness.
Locally, the colour yellow is popping. Both representative of the return sun and in the blooms of wattle and daffodils, it is a colour that brings smiles. Spring flowers emerge as we do, from the darkness of soil toward the sun. Did you ever hold a buttercup bloom under your chin as a kid? This is what I am shown now…reflect the sunny yellow from our gorgeous plant friends into ourselves.
This is a beautiful time to connect with nature. Renew the love of Mother Earth as the sun encourages us out. The key aspect of forest bathing or shinrin-yoku is to connect with nature with all of your senses. Take a moment to sit near trees of plants. (It is said that pot plants can serve this purpose if you can’t get out.) Bring yourself to centre with your breath. Allow all of your senses to open. Hear the birds, see the trees, smell the flowers, touch the earth and taste freshness in the air. Allow yourself to be completely immersed. In time, bring yourself back to your body and thank Mother for her gifts.
Colours: Think renewal…yellow, green, pale pink.
Crystals: I would suggest Rose Quartz to bring in the self-love, Citrine for the yellow of abundance and clear quartz to amplify all intentions.
Traditions: Be in nature, decorate an altar, get fancy with eggs, spend time with
family and friends feasting on seasonal produce.
As always, follow your own intuition and enjoy.
Ostara blessings, Shelley
